Creating new data files
In order to start using AudBase for your organization's purpose, you must first create a new data file.
Note: Only the person logged in as the administrator can create a new data file.
To create a new data file
- Double-click the AudBase icon.
The Password dialog appears.- Enter the user name administrator.
- Enter the administrator password for the data file you were last using or, if this is a new installation, the default administrator password.
- While holding down the Alt key (Windows) or Option key (Mac), click Connect to open AudBase.
- On the Open data file dialog, select New... to open the Create a data file dialog.
- Browse to a location where you wish to save the new file.
- In the Name field, type in a unique name for the new data file.
- Click Save.
